Vivian Alice Reeves, 83, of Milam, Texas passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born on August 2, 1939 in Brookeland, to David Cochran and Lillian Pearl Scott. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Milam. She loved flowers, working in her yard and she was a great 42 player. She loved taking care of kids and grandkids.

She is survived by her son, John Reeves and wife, Gloria of San Augustine; daughter, Theressa Sanders of Milam; brother, Bill Cochran and wife, Bernice of Jasper; sister, Jimmie Hess of Brookeland; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 24, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m at Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill.

Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25, at Geneva Baptist Church in Geneva with Bro. Buddy Pratt Officiating.

Burial will follow services in New Hope Cemetery in Milam, under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Scott McDowell, Jason McDowell, Frankie Sanders, Seth Sanders, Gabe Titman, Bill McDowell, Daryl Martin and Justin Russell serving as pallbearers.
