Gregory Paul Revere passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 70 in Lufkin. Born on October 25, 1955, in Beaumont, to Edward Revere and Barbara Smith Revere, Gregory spent his early years in Beaumont before moving to Hemphill, where he lived for the last 30 years. A self-employed contractor by profession, Gregory was also a passionate outdoorsman who cherished fishing and hunting. His love for nature was profound, often found enjoying the tranquility of the water with his fishing rod in hand and his beloved dog, Boudreaux, by his side. Gregory's presence was a comfort and joy to those around him, creating lasting memories with family and friends through simple, shared pleasures.

Gregory served his country honorably as a member of the United States Marine Corp, carrying the discipline and resilience he learned into his civilian life.

He leaves behind his sister-in-law, Jo Revere; niece, Amber Turner; nephews, Brad and Brance Paul Revere; stepfather, Lloyd Goodson; his lady friend, Cheryl; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly. Gregory was preceded in death by his father, Charles Hutson; mother, Barbara Goodson; brother, Bradley Revere; and his grandparents.

Gregory will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memories will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and the stories shared about him will keep his spirit close for years to come.

Rest peacefully, Gregory. May your days now be filled with calm waters, good fishing, and the peace you deserve.

Graveside services for Gregory will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Isaac Low Cemetery, officiated by Bro. Rick Harrison and under the direction of Starr Funeral Home, Hemphill, Texas.
