Thomas Edward Perimon passed away on July 21, 2026, at the age of 74 in Tiki Island. Born on February 2, 1952, in DeQuincy, Louisiana, he was the son of Earnest Everett Perimon and Bernice Cecilia Pantalion Perimon.

Tommy spent his early years in Hemphill, and later moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico, where he lived for 46 years. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam War, demonstrating a commitment to service that remained a significant aspect of his life. Professionally, Tommy worked as a drilling fluid supervisor in the oilfield industry, a role that highlighted his dedication and expertise.

A man with a deep love of family and a keen interest in history, Tommy cherished the time spent with his loved ones. He is survived by his son, Thomas Derek Perimon and wife, Maia, of Georgetown, ; stepdaughter, Desiree Donofrie of Phoenix, Arizona; siblings, Michael Perimon and Johnny Perimon, both of Hemphill, and sister, Peggy MaGee and husband, Henry, of Snook. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Carolanne Perimon of Austin and Celeste Tran of Phoenix. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Bernice Perimon, and his brothers, Earnest and Bill Perimon.

Tommy was a graduate of Hemphill High School, and his educational foundation supported his successful career and personal growth. A Celebration of Life for Tommy will be announced at a later date. Handling arrangements for the family is Starr Funeral Home of Hemphill.

Tommy's life was marked by his service, his love for his family, and his passion for history, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.
