Ardell Netherly Matlock, age 100, of San Augustine, departed this physical life on Thursday, July 02, 2026, at Stone Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in San Augustine. Mrs. Ardell Netherly Matlock was born April 20, 1926.

Survived by her daughter:: Georgia Jackson of Dallas, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, five greatgreat grandchildren, and sister: Louever “Kitty” Smith of Fort Worth. As well as, a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing will being Friday, July 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m at Garner & Son Chapel.

Funeral Service will begin, Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 11 a.m., Mt. Horeb Baptist Church, Interment: Haley Bush Cemetery, Rev. Orvin Garrett, Officiating.
