James Darryl Mangrum, 62, of Broaddus passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026, at his residence.

James was born January 25, 1964, in Fort Worth to parents James Allen and Carlene (Courtney) Mangrum. He had been a resident of Broaddus for several years.

He had a long, distinguished career as a truck driver. James has hauled just about anything that has hauled. He worked on local hau well as long distance trips.

James loved his family. He great passion for woodworking activities, coming up with m designs and creations. James spent many an hour fishing other great pastime in his life, including fishing in some o biggest, exciting tournaments on East Texas waters.

Survivors: wife, Carla Mangrum of Broaddus; sons, B don Mangrum and wife, Jayla, and Dustin Mangrum, a Huntington; daughters, Danielle Sanders and husband, Allen, of Huntington, and Amanda Cravy and husband, Jo of Nacogdoches; sisters, Dena Cocke and husband, Joh Fort Worth, and Tina Shawn and husband, Steven, of Jo brother, Joel Mangrum and his wife, Judith, of Indiana grandchildren, Dallas Sanders, Brandon Sanders, Haven M grum, Jagger Mangrum, and Jennings Mangrum.
