Timothy Lee Weldon Conn, 23, of Vidor, passed away on March 29, 2026, in Romeoville, Illinois. Born on August 30, 2002, in Jasper, Timothy (affectionately known as “T-Gator” by his friends and family, was a cherished member of his community and a loving figure in his family. A graduate of West Sabine High School, Class of 2020, Timothy was an enthusiastic athlete, playing football and baseball for the Tigers. His passion for sports was matched by his love for the outdoors, engaging in activities such as hog hunting with his best buddy “Bo Dawg”, deer hunting, fishing, running dogs, and riding ATVs.

He spent his professional life working as a boilermaker for Altair Strickland, dedicating himself to the craft in the refinery industry.

Timothy was a beloved husband to Abbigail Conn and a devoted father to his daughters, Journey and Haisley Conn, who were his world. He is survived by a large family who cherished him deeply, including his mother, Crystal Scott and fiancé, Dylan Gates, of Hemphill; father, Elbert Elliott of Pineland; grandparents, Billy and Tricia Conn of Hemphill, Patsy Elliott of Pineland, and Brian Scott of Hemphill; brother, Tyson Elliott of Pineland; sisters, Elisha Elliott and Mallory Elliott of Pineland; niece, Maizee; and nephew, Castin, along with many more friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his Pawpaw, Jack “Larry” Elliott; Grandma & Grandpa, Jean and Lloyd Conn; Grandma, Lydia “Jean” Page; great grandmother, JoAnn Burch; and great uncles, Jeffery “Jeff” Scott and Troy “Peanut” Burch.

Details of the memorial services are currently pending at Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Starr Funeral Home to help with family expenses.

Timothy's life was a testament to hard work, family devotion, and a profound love for the natural world. His legacy will live on through his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
