A Celebration of T.W. Clark, Jr.’s Life, age 95, of Survey Community, Texas, will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 19, 2026 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper, Texas with burial to follow at the Clark Family Cemetery in the Mayflower Community of Newton County, Texas. Family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Funeral Home.

T.W. passed away on Monday, January 12, 2025 in Victoria, Texas.

Born in Merryville, Louisiana and a former resident of Brookeland, Port Arthur and Nederland, Texas, T.W. was a longtime resident of the Survey Community in Newton County, Texas. He was a 1947 graduate of Brookeland High School and was Honorably Discharged from the United States Army after serving in Korea. He retired as a letter carrier with the United States Postal Service after over 30 years in the Wiergate and Brookeland areas. T.W. was a member of the Newton Masonic Lodge #136 AF&AM in Burkeville and Easter Star Chapter # 21 in Jasper. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

T.W. is survived by his son, Wayne Clark of Edna, Texas; daughters, Yavanae Clark Vaden and husband Mike of Lindale, Texas and Lawana Clark Bickley of Lufkin, Texas; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Wilburn Clark, Sr.; mother, Ella Clark and his wife of 58 years, Glenda Ann Rudd Clark.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
