Lloyd Bryant Lott, aged 59, passed away on January 16, 2026, in Rusk. Born on April 20, 1966, in Sabine County, to Lloyd Keith Lott and Mary Elma Conner Lott, Bryant was a lifelong resident of the Sabine County area, cherishing his roots and the community. Bryant retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, dedicating many years to service before retiring to spend more time pursuing his passions. An avid outdoorsman, Bryant loved hunting and fishing, activities that reflected his deep appreciation for nature. Above all, he cherished moments spent with his family, who were the center of his world. His daughters were particularly dear to him, often described as the light of his eyes.

He is survived by his daughters, Candice Breeden and her husband Wesley, and their children Kylie, Jacob, and Nova of Newport, TN; and Constance Butler and her husband James Butler, with their children William and Jonathon Cobb and Khloe and Emma Butler of Rusk. Bryant also leaves behind his beloved Carmen Lott of Rusk, and Patty Lott of Brookeland, as well as his siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

Visitation for Bryant will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Starr Funeral Home, located at 510 Starr Street in Hemphill, Texas.

Following the visitation, cremation arrangements are entrusted to Starr Funeral Home.

Bryant's love for his family and his community will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
