It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rebecca Lynn Hart, lovingly known as Becky or Ducky, at the age of 32. Rebecca was born on December 6th, 1992, at Meritier Methodist Hospital in Madison, WI. She passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025, at CHI St. Lufkin. Rebecca was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Jared, and her aunts, Julie and Jody. She also reunites with her grandfathers, Gerald Ziggler and Fred Hart, whose love and memory she carried with her always.

She is survived by her devoted parents, Jeniffer Hart (Gary) and Scott Hart, as well as her cherished grandmother, Cordilla Ziggler. Rebecca leaves behind her loving big brothers, Robert (Candace) Hart and Jonathan (Tara) Hart and an extended family of nieces and nephews, each of whom she adored deeply: Joslyin, Weston, Jared, Mason, Mallory, Delilah, Jason, Stella, Fred and Penelope.

Rebecca worked as an Assistant Manager at Family Dollar in Broaddus where she made lasting connections with colleagues and customers alike. Her passion for her work was only matched by the love she had for her family. Rebecca’s nieces and nephews were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them. When she wasn’t spoiling them with love, she found peace in reading, a hobby that brought her joy and allowed her to escape into different worlds.

Family was everything to Rebecca and she brought warmth, laughter, and love into every room she entered. Her infectious smile and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 510 Starr Street in Hemphill where we will gather to honor Rebecca’s life and the indelible mark that she left on all of us. Services will be under the direction of Starr Funeral Home and Bro. Michael Payne officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Jeniffer Hart in Rebecca’s memory.
