Vonnie Ray Jones, age 91, of San Augustine, departed this physical life on, June 29, 2025, at his home in San Augustine. Mr. Vonnie Ray Jones was born November 02, 1933. Survived by his wife; Odeal Jenkins Jones of San Augustine, four sons; Melvin Jones (Rita) of San Augustine, Eddie Jones of San Augustine, Harry Jones of San Augustine, and K e n nith Jones of San Augustine, two daughters; Cheryl Jones of San Augustine, and Vonnie McArther of Tyler, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing held Friday, July 04, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Garner & Son Chapel.

Funeral service held Saturday, July 05, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, Interment: New Hope Cemetery with Rev. George Simon.
