Nettie Ruth Malone Clay, age 83, of San Augustine, departed this physical life on May 25, 2025, at Harbor Hospice of Southeast Houston Inpatient in Houston. Mrs. Clay was born October 07, 1941.

Nettie is survived by her children; LaBarbara Edison of Stafford, Clifford Malone (Carolyn) of San Augustine and Willie Clay (Jonne’) of Missouri City, nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and one sister; Annie Malone Johnson (Johnny) of Sugarland. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation held Friday, June 6, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Garner & Son Chapel.

Funeral service held Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Reed Chapel Baptist Church, Interment: Redland Cemetery, with Rev. Marlon Cloudy, officiating.
