Allene Jo Kane, 81, of Vidor, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, in Groves. She was born on January 11, 1944, in Beaumont, to Allen Joe Porter and Gerldine Wagner Porter. A longtime resident of Vidor, Allene cherished time spent with her family and had a deep love for Elvis Presley and his music. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Garland Reinford Kane. She is survived by her son, Reinford 'Randy' Allen Kane and his wife, Kim, of Vidor; grandson, Blake Allen Kane and his wife, Kelsey; granddaughter, Shae Michelle Kane; and great-grandsons, Graham, Griffin, and Grayson Kane.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas, with Bro. Floyd Wright officiating.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery with William Bauer, Dennis Bessire, J.J. Porter, J.C. Porter, and Jody Lambright serving as pallbearers.
