Sandra Janice Burrow
Sandra Janice Burrow, born on March 28, 1940, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Boyd Russel Breedlove and Winnie Mae Bigley, passed away peacefully at her home in Milam, on January 24, 2025. Sandra was a devoted member of St. Pius Catholic Church in Hemphill. She dedicated her life to her family, finding joy in the simple yet profound pleasures of rural life as well as taking care of her cows. Known for her love of cooking, she created countless cherished memories around the table with her loved ones.
She is survived by her children: Bart Burrow and wife Aimee of Springhill, Kansas; Morgan Burrow and wife Samantha of Bronson; and Craig Burrow and wife Fabi of San Antonio, Mary Frances Burr and husband Tim of Madisonville and Douglas Burrow of San Augustine; her adopted granddaughter Amber Cox; her sister Glenda Mays of Athens; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry forward her legacy.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Morgan Burrow; and her children Russell Boyd Booker, Teresa LeBlanc Wilson and Jerry Paul Burrow.
Visitation was held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Starr Funeral Home Chapel in Hemphill, Texas.
A Rosary followed visitation at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass was held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at St. Pius I Catholic Church with Father Emmanuel Akpobolokemi.
Burial will follow services in East Hamilton Cemetery in Patroon, Texas under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with her family serving as pallbearers.
