Patricia “Pat’’ Lynn Redmon, 77, of Broaddus, passed away peacefully at her residence on January 19, 2025. Born on February 4, 1947, in Clear Creek, Patricia was the daughter of Oliver David and Lola Redmon. Known affectionately as Pat, she dedicated her life to caring for others as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for an impressive 52 years. Her career included work in emergency rooms and later at Hemphill Care Center and Legacies Nursing and Rehab. Pat’s passion for nursing was evident in her unwavering commitment to her elderly patients, whom she cared for with compassion and dedication.
A resident of San Augustine County for three decades, Pat previously lived in Liberty. She embraced life with enthusiasm and a sense of adventure, finding joy in riding motorcycles and traveling. Her zest for life and love of exploration left a lasting impression on those who knew her.
Pat is survived by her life partner, Linda Freeze of Broaddus; her brother, Dusty Redmon of Cleveland; her niece, Amber Strickler and husband, Andy, of Friendswood; and her nephew Justin Redmon and wife, Dominique, of Texas City.
