Jimmy Marvin Curry, 86, of Pineland, passed away Saturday, June 18,2022, at Hemphill Care Center in Hemphill.

He was born in Pineland, on April 12, 1936, to William Thomas Curry and Oma Lee Green Curry. He was a lifetime resident of Pineland and a cattle rancher.

He is survived by his nephew, Louis Chapman of Woodville; nieces, Marlene Brown of Groveton, Julie Chapman of Jasper, and Elaine Sontag of Woodville; and numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lenora Curry.

Graveside services were held June 22, in Sowell Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Bro. David Ebarb officiating and family and friends serving as pallbearers.
