Mary Lillian "Lil" Brodie, 78, of Bronson, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022, in Houston.

She was born on April 6, 1944, in Orange. She was a lifelong resident of Sabine County and a member of Plainview Community Church. She enjoyed being outdoors tending to her flowers and chickens and she loved to go hunting, fishing and camping any chance she got.

She is survived by her husband, Darrel Brodie of Bronson; son, Kenneth Brodie and wife, Tonya, of Hemphill; daughters, Cynthia Brister of Hemphill and Teresa Bragg and husband, Charles, of Pineland; brother, Joe Ebarb of Hemphill; sister, Patsy Allen and husband, Glenn, of Center; grandchildren, Chris Gilcrease, Misty Graffeo and husband, Robert, Kayla Forse, Kattie Spears, Daniel Wood and wife, Kristan, Brendan Brister, Dustin Bragg and wife, Chelsey, Lacie Bragg and Dylan Riojas, Kelsey Bragg and Gabe LeJune, and Tuck Remington Brodie and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosie Patsy Woodard; daughter, Sherry Jo Wilson; brother, John Huey Ebarb; and sisters, Polly Siebert and Wanda Ladner.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 27, in Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Curtis White and Bro. Pat Jacks officiating.

Burial followed services in Lott Cemetery with Chris Gilcrease, Robert Graffeo, Daniel Wood, Brendan Brister, Dustin Bragg, Dylan Riojas, Gabe LeJune, Tuck Brodie, John Wilson, Brentley Wristen and Trent Boudreaux serving as pallbearers.
