Alice Ann (Goodman) Swenson, 65, of Hemphill passed away October 5, 2024, at Harbor Hospice House in Jasper.

She was born January 23, 1959, in Belle Chasse, Louisiana, to parents Sudie Opal (Powell) and Thomas Wayne Goodman. Alice had lived most of her life in the Northeast Texas area, where she worked many years as a computer web page designer. In later years, she and her husband moved to the Deep East Texas region, appreciating her family's roots and heritage of this area.

Her survivors include her mother, Sudie Opal Goodman of Sherman; daughter, Candice Cooper and husband Shawn of Little Elm; son, Justin Swenson and wife Kimberly of San Augustine County; grandchildren, Caydin Cooper of Little Elm, Kiley Cooper of Little Elm, Haylee Thompson of San Augustine, Braeden Richardson of San Augustine, Bryan Barker of Wo odvil le, and Da wson Be arde n of San Augustine; and si sters , Teresa Tarver of Pineland, Mary Beth Harris of Denison, and Louann McDuffy of Sherman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Lance Swenson; father, Thomas Wayne Goodman; and brother, John Douglas Massengale.

Alice received great comfort, care, and concern in her latter times from Justin, Teresa, and her daughter Heather.

Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, November 2, 2024, at CrossRoads Christian Center, located at the intersection of Hwy. 103 and FM 1277. Visit www.WymanRobertsFH.com for memories and condolences.
