Mozelle Conn (née Dickerson), aged 87, passed away on September 10, 2024, in Bronson. Born on April 28, 1937, in Bronson, to Louis and Lilly Truss Dickerson, Mozelle spent her entire life as a member of the Sabine County community. Throughout her life, Mozelle was known for her strong work ethic, having held various jobs across the county. Mozelle was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Conn, and her daughter, Belinda Reynolds.

She is survived by her son, James William 'Billy' Conn and his wife, Susan, of Bronson; her brothers, Doyle Dickerson and Jimmy Dickerson, both of Bronson; sisters, Beatrice Craddock of Hemphill, and Doylene Henderson of Evadale. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Chris Reynolds, Kelli Kittman and her husband, Patrick, and Jesse Conn and his wife, Anita, along with great-grandchildren, Jhett, Brody, and Braylin.

Services for Mozelle will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill, Texas. Mozelle's life and legacy will be remembered fondly by all who knew her, as she leaves behind a legacy of love, perseverance, and community involvement.
