Rosa Ann Wright Clark, 88, of Hemphill, left her earthly home on June 15, 2022, to be welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She was born on Nov.r 8, 1933, in Rosevine, to Mack Macaulley Wright and Mary Lee Chambers Wright. She married her husband of 61 years, William Terrell Clark, on Feb. 24, 1953. They moved to Port Arthur, while raising their children, but returned home to Sabine County after retirement.

She enjoyed planting vegetables in her garden and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a devout Christian and always went to church on Sundays. She was a member of East Mayfield Baptist Church.

She is survived by one brother, Billy Ray Wright; her sons, William Ricky Clark, Ronald Clark and wife, Kathy, all of Hemphill and Michael Clark and wife, Marilyn, of LaBelle; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Terrell Clark; her daughter, Shirley Diann Clark; her parents; sisters; and brothers.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 18, in Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Floyd Wright and Bro. Gene Lee officiating.

Burial will follow services in Fairmount Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.
