James W. Maher died peacefully in his sleep on Friday, May 24th. He was the love of my life. Cancer raised it's ugly head again. I am so grateful for a peaceful, pain-free, eternal sleep. He will be forever missed. He leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years, Mary Maher, 3 sons, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

His cousin Maureen still lives in New York and brought happiness to him on frequent phone calls. His friend, Scott, was like a son to him.

There will be no funeral services for Jim. He wants everyone to have a party in his name and love one another.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home, Hemphill, Texas.
