William Nolan Brown
William Nolan 'Bill' Brown, 66, of Pineland, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024. He was born on May 8, 1958, in Houston, to J. C. Brown and Helen Oleta Gray Brown. Bill, was a lifetime resident of Sabine County and an active member of the Pineland community. He was a Project Manager for Matrix Service Company and a member of the Boiler Maker's Union, traveling for 47 years before retiring. He worshiped at the Little Flock Baptist Church and enjoyed camping and spending time with friends and family. Bill cherished his wife, children and grandchildren.
William is survived by his wife of 31 years, Deborah Brown of Pineland; daughter, Nicole Brown Champagne of Pineland; brother, David Brown of Pt. Neches; grandchildren, Jada Brown, Clair Champagne, Emily Champagne, and Khloe Champagne; as well as numerous friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Leslie Brown; mother, Helen Brown Clark; father, J. C. Brown; and brother, Charles Brown.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Starr Funeral Home Chapel in Hemphill, Texas.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. David Ebarb and Bro. Curtis White officiating.
Burial will follow at Pineland Cemetery with Brad Brown, Malcolm Brown, Robert Brown, R. C. Welch, Daniel Gay, and Sammy Harrington serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Kaleb Brown, Steven Clark, Jason Perkins, and Dan Smith.
