Dodie Roberts, 76, of Pineland, passed away on February 23, 2024. She was born on November 28, 1947, in Houston, to L. C. Roberts and Annie Maxine Wright Roberts.

Dodie retired after many dedicated years at Temple-Inland and continued working at Lowe's and Ritter Lumber post-retirement. She was known for her strong work ethic and commitment to her career.

In her free time, Dodie enjoyed fishing, camping, and the thrill of gambling at the Horseshoe Casino.

She is survived by her sisters, Darlene Nabours and husband, Keith, of Hemphill, Martha Kirk of Pineland, brother, Billie Miller and wife, Bevelyn, of Forney, niece, Taylor Nabours Barnett and husband, Sam, nephew, Justin Roberts and wife, Martina, and great nieces and nephews Caylee Roberts, Connor Roberts, and Brinlee Nabours. Dodie was preceded in death by her parents, L.C. and Annie Roberts, and sister, Joy Fowler.

Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas.
