Mrs. Garrett departed this physical life on Oct. 20, at the Hospice of East Texas in Tyler.

Services were held Saturday, Oct. 28 at Mt. Horeb Baptist Church with Pastor Bradley Hale Officiating.

She is survived by her two children, Bria Simone Muriel (Johnathan) of Forney, Briar Gary Garrett of Garland, Grandaughter, Emrie Elise Muriel, Siblings, Mary Kennedy Green of Dallas, Frederick Moore (Mary) of Nacogdoches, Barbara Moore Burrell (Antoine) of Houston, Bobby Lewis Jones of Nacogdoches, and a host of other relatives.
