Mrs. Gracie Edwards, age 93, of San Augustine departed this physical life on September 15, 2023, at Stone Creek Nursing Home in San Augustine. Her service was held Saturday, Sep. 23 at New Union Grove Baptist Church. Visitation was the day before at Garner & Son Mortuary Chapel.

She is survived by a daughter, Leatrice Burrell of San Augustine, a son, Carlvin Edwards of San Augustine, a God Daughter, Tabatha Jones of Houston, a brother, Edward R. Borders of Houston, two sisters, Betty Holman of San Augustine, Pearline Tate of San Augustine, Joy Borders of San Augustine and a host of other family and friends.
