Bonnie Frances Layfield, 88, of Many, Louisiana passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at her resident. She was born December 28, 1934 in Fisher, Louisiana to Samuel Randolph and Nellie Rose Beason. She was a resident of Milam, Texas before moving to Many in 1975 and was a member of Pendleton Assembly of God. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spending her time with her family. She enjoyed her flowers and having coffee time with her sisters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Earl Layfield and daughter, Suzie Jacks.

She is survived by her sons, Tim Layfield and wife, Debbie, of Many and Randy Layfield and wife, Lawana, of Milam; daughter, Brenda Shanley and husband, Jim, of Many; her sonin- law, Buck Jacks; grandchildren, Heath, Timmy, Stephanie, Leah, Colt, Michael, Zack, Bo, Marina and Swayde; 25 great grandchildren; great great grandchildren, Travis and Tripp; and Negreet High School 1952 Classmates Lynn, JoNell and Ralph.

Graveside services were held Friday, July 28 in New Hope Cemetery, 400 New Hope Dr., Milam, Texas under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Bro. Bryan Wade officiating.

Serving as pallbearers were Sgt. Bailey Lemmons, Heath Lemmons, Tim Layfield, Jr., Michael Shanley, Lakota Layfield, Ryder Beasley and Axel Armstrong.
