Sandra Jeanette McDonald Fondon 77, of Montgomery, AL, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022.

She was born March 15, 1945, in Beaumont, to Floyd 'Mac' Franklin and Florence Ella Bobbitt McDonald. She was a homemaker and worked as a Christian school teacher. Her hobbies included sewing, genealogy research and scrapbooking. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Benny Glenn Fondon of Montgomery, AL.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Lynn Fondon of Montgomery, AL; sons, Kevin Lee Fondon of Nashville, TN; and Darrell Shane Fondon of Charlotte, NC; granddaughter, Sarah Raquel Fondon of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Rosa Hunter, Marolyn Garrard, Carolyn Venis, Karen Watts, Debra Kirkland and Cindy McDonald; and many nieces and nephews. Close relationship with nieces, Dianna Prachyl, Dawn Green, Tammy Silvas and nephews, Dane Broussard, Demetrios Venetis, Timothy Watts.

She was also proceeded in death by nephew, David Broussard.

Graveside services were held May 20, at Bobbitt Cemetery with Bro. Marlon Mosley officiating.
