Louise Gary White, 84, of Huntington, passed away April 12, 2022.

A San Augustine County native, she was born Jan. 28, 1938, to parents, Emery "Batson" Gary and Zera Whitton Gary and had lived in Jasper County most of her life. She retired from Jasper Memorial Hospital, where she worked many years as a switchboard operator. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. She loved to read, travel and shop.

Her survivors her daughters, Mary Brasher and husband, Steve of Diboll, Melissa McGuire and husband, Henry Joe of Huntington and Teresa Rast of Bossier City, LA; grandchildren, Chris Brasher and wife, Ali, Sabrina Waterman and husband, Justin, Hollie McGuire, Michael McGuire, Charity Ryan and Angela Zaia and husband, Joe; seven great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-laws, Reba Gary, Sue Ferguson and Margaret Richardson and husband, Elton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy H. White; her parents, Emery and Zera Gary; and brother, Robert Gary.

Services were held April 14, at Stringer & Griffin's Jasper Chapel, with Bro. T.A. Lane officiating. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper.

Services were under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home.
