Dennis Ledru Clapper, 85, of Hemphill, passed away on Monday, November 7, at Hemphill Care Center.
He was born on Jan. 28, 1937 in Dodge City, KS to parents Jake L. Clapper and Wava Black. He served in the U.S. ARMY from 1959 until 1965. He then went on to become a truck driver for Overland.
He is survived by one son, Charles Clapper of Norman, OK; brother, David Clapper of Hoxie, KS and close friend, Landon Dunlap of Hemphill.
He was preceded in death by his parents. A Graveside Service weree held, Nov. 10, at Yellowpine Cemetery in Hemphill with Bro. Floyd Wright officiating.
