Sabine County 4-H is GROWING

Body
Sabine County 4-H had 25 entries in the Sabine County Junior Livestock Show, which is more than double what the organization had the year prior. You have the Grand and Reserve winners, but I wanted to highlight those that won Showmanship, as well. They are as follows: Corbyn Beall Junior Rabbit Showmanship Winner Cason Beall Intermediate Rabbit Showmanship Winner Jake Pay Steer Showmanship Winner There was a speaking portion added to the food division this year and I thought every kid, no matter the program, handled the change well and rose up to the challenge. I was also proud that 4-H broadened the scope of our entries beyond food and animal divisions. We had two enter public speaking, one entered a nicely tooled leather belt into the sewing division, one in art, and two in photography. Chanelle Svehla Ag Extension Agent, SC
