Ms. Courtney CaSha Shaynee’ “Jean” Smith, age 43, of San Augustine departed this physical life on April 4, 2024, at her residence in Lufkin.

Ms. Smith was born May 13, 1980. Survivors; parents L J Smith and Marshall Kay Smith of San Augustine; two brothers Torrey Smith (LaTorya) of San Augustine and Jurrum Smith (Autum) of Lufkin; five sisters Chudney Garrett (Demeko) of San Augustine, Chasity Smith of San Augustine, Millie Smith of Lufkin, Lena Smith of Lufkin, and Alisha Kay White of Port Neches; and special aunt Nanny Curlpepper of Lufkin. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service were held April 13, 2024 at 1:00 pm Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Interment: Mt. Zion Cemetery Visitation was Friday, April 12, 2024 Garner & Son Chapel. Condolences by Garner and Son Mortuary
