Charlotte Wayne Parnell, 65, of Bronson, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Charlotte was born on January 2, 1960, in Tulrosa, New Mexico, to Johnnie Wayne Burch and Rosy Mae Smith Burch. A devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, Charlotte spent most of her life as a resident of Sabine County. She found joy in sewing and crocheting, creating cherished blankets for loved ones and crafting intricate dream catchers. Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her children and grandchildren, who lovingly called her 'Nana.'

Charlotte is survived by her husband of 25 years, Justin Parnell of Bronson; her sons, Mark Worry Jr. and wife Carla of Pineland, and George Welch of Pineland; her daughters, Elizabeth Chaddick and husband Ricky of Bronson, and Cynthia Jones of Brookeland; her sister, Jeanette Hatfield of Ohio; eleven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Edward Burch.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Starr Funeral Home, located at 510 Starr Street in Hemphill, Texas.

Funeral services took place on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Burl McBride officiating.

Burial followed at Bronson Cemetery with Jacob Chaddick, Seth Welch, Dakota Weaver, Devin Jones, William Taylor, Craig Matt, Shawn Harvey, and Wilburn Parnell serving as pallbearers.
