Event: Patriotic Weekend Celebration

Our Patriotic Weekend Celebration is a three-day event dedicated to honoring the sacrifice of our cherished service members for our freedom. Here's what attendees can expect:

Walking to Remember: On Friday, May 24th, we invite the community to join us in Pineland Park at 6 pm for "Walking to Remember." Participants are encouraged to dress in red, white, and blue as we walk in remembrance of those who have fallen in service to our country. Special fans will be available for participants to write down the names of the service members they are walking to remember. Additionally, there will be a Missing Man Table presented by VFW's Mr. Buckner.

Patriotic Dress Contest: Throughout the weekend, attendees are encouraged to wear their best red, white, and blue attire. We'll be hosting a patriotic dress contest with prizes for the most creative outfits.

Hemphill Square Activities: On Saturday, May 25th, Hemphill Square will come alive with live music, a car show, vendors, shopping opportunities, food trucks, and a kids' zone. It's a fun-filled day for the whole family to enjoy.
