The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Hemphill held it’s first meeting on Tuesday, September, 26th in the City Council Chambers. The 3 members (L-R) are Samuel Melton, Stacee Barnett, and Christine Cox were quickly sworn in and then chose Stacee Barnett as Chairperson and Samuel Melton as Vice-Chairperson. City Manager Thad Smith explained the Commission’s duties, responsibilities, and processes.
