When Hemphills Actors Studio issued a call for assistance with painting backdrops for the upcoming June performance they received more than they asked for. Larry Raines, the current caretaker of McMahon Chapel in north Sabine County, is more than a painter. Raines is an artist, and one of the more interesting people you could hope to spend an hour listening to. He showed up, listened to Leanne Hinkles vision, then started knocking out the scenery, turning plain plywood into backgrounds for "The Sort Of True Tale Of Robin Hood", which is NOT just another Sherwood Forrest spinoff.
