House of Destiny
House of Destiny is a non-profit addiction recovery facility located in the unincorporated community of Votaw. The faithbased residential center for women began 15 years ago and continues with the goal of helping women break the chains of addiction. Residents accepted into the program will find a safe and secure environment without judgment. The house consists of six private bedrooms with shared living and dining rooms.
The twelve month program offers private and group counseling along with classes in parenting, setting boundaries, money management, Bible study, GED or college prep and much more. During the program, the women are encouraged to search for the underlying problems that led to the addiction. To date, 45 women have graduated from the program, broken the chain of addiction, and are now leading successful lives.
