Service Club

Pineland Service Club's monthly meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 12 at the cafeteria of West Sabine High School, located at 109 Timberland Hwy. in Pineland. For information, contact the organization’s president, Dr. Carnelius Gilder. Members and interested persons are urged to attend.

Kids Fish

Sabine County Chamber of Commerce Presents Kid’s Fish hosted by The Byrd’s Nest RV Park Saturday, May 14. 6300 State Hwy 21 East, registration for children 17 and under from 9:30-10 a.m. All tackle provided, no license required, award ceremony and lunch at 11:30. Bikes and Boats

Sabine County Chamber of Commerce Presents Bikes and Boats Poker Run hosted by The Byrd’s Nest RV Park Saturday, May 14 at 6300 State Hwy 21 East. Registration begins from 8:30-9:00 a.m. Starts at 9:15, return to the RV park by noon. For details call Jesse Watson at 409-594-2555.

Auction

The Methodist Men of First United in Hemphill will hold their Annual Auction on Saturday, May 14. Registration opens at 8 a.m. with bidding starting promptly at 9 a.m. Donations are currently being accepted. The Men are seeking merchandise in clean, working order to include outdoor equipment, bicycles, fishing equipment, appliances, furniture, tools, etc. Items that will not be accepted are computers, printers, TVs, and clothes. VBS

Rosevine Missionary Baptist Church will host their VBS June 13 through June 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. This year’s program is Kookaburra Coast (awesome adventures in God’s glory) for grades Pre-K through eighth. The church is located at 655 Rosevine Rd. (FM 1 north) in Bronson.
