West Sabine ISD announces top grads for Class of 2022
West Sabine High School is proud to announce their top graduates of the Class of 2022. Earning valedictorian for his class is Aaron Tate Lane. Tate is the son of Mayor Joseph & Lisa Lane. His grandparents are Don & Debbie Lane and Don & Janet Tate.
Tate plans to attend Texas A & M University in Bryan College Station and major in Animal Science. This year’s salutatorian for the Tigers is Hailee
This year’s salutatorian for the Tigers is Haley Cunningham. She is is the daughter of Jessica Adkins, Alan Cunningham and Dee Cunningham, Step Mom. Her grandparents are Kim & Jesse Adkins & Glenda Cunningham.
Haley plans to attend Stephen F. Austin University to obtain a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and to become a labor & delivery nurse. Rounding out the top three is Emma Frick,

Emma planst to attend the University of Texas at Tyler to obtain a Bachelors in Communication Science and Disorder.
Coming in at 4, Karson Lane, son of Melissa Lane and Kevin Lane. His grandparents are Paul and Carolyn Lane. He plans to attend Lamar University to obtain a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Madison Fuller is ranked 5th. She is the daughter of Tara and Heath Fuller. Grandparents are Tanillia and Kent Byley and Vicky and Terry Justice. She plans to attend Stephen F. Austin University and get prerequisites for optometry. Eventually, she would like to work with Nacogdoches Eye Associates.
Ranking sixth, is Karly Matlock daughter of Tonya Ford and Tommy Matlock. Her grandparents are Tony and Myrtie Ann Ford, and Frankie Crowell and Ronny Crowell. She plans to attend Angelina College and major in Sonography.
Hayden Emmett Clark is ranked 7th and his parents are Matt Clark and Sara Jones. He is the grandson of Michael and Johnette Smith, Rickey and JoAnn Clark. Hayden plans on attending Lamar University in the fall for a degree in Civil Engineering.
Jasmine Faith Hardy is next. She is the daughter of Tim and Tammy Hardy and grandaughter to Ray Hardy and Patsy Hardy and Lou and Jerry Kennemer. Faith plans to attend Panola College and become an occupational Therapy Assistant, then transfer to SFA to get her bachelors in Kinesiology and eventually, attend UT at Tyler to get a Masters and Occupational Therapist.
Ranked ninth is James Thompson. He is the son of Kelly Butler. James has proudly joined the United States Marine Corps where he has been elated to join the Marine Corps Band.
Rounding out the top ten is Selina Marie Sepulvado. She is the daughter of Holly Sepulvado and Jeffrey Sepulvado. Her grandparents are Florine Pitre and John Pitre. She plans on attending Texas State University, majoring in criminal justice and working her way up to be a FBI homicide detective!
