Community meeting #2 was held Monday evening, May 2, at the West Sabine Elementary cafeteria to discuss preparations for the future of the West Sabine School District. It was an open discussion town hall style meeting with many great ideas being brought up in preparation for the school board meeting on Tuesday evening. The main focus of the meeting was directed at fine tuning and solidifying goals as set forth in the Belief, Vision, and Mission Statements. The Statements are a roadmap of how best the WSISD can serve the students, in not only teaching them the skills needed to succeed in the world, but to achieve Intentional Excellence.
